AMAZING "hidden" gem "is was our first time to go to Primo at Royal Palms and it will not be our last. What a gem of a place. We chose to have our dinner for six on the beach in one of the cabanas and that was super special too. Our server was excellent and the food was exceptional. As with so many other reviewers have said, do not let the exterior/parking lot front deter you from having a meal here. It is wonderful all round!"
PRIVATE BEACH CABANA AND BEAUTIFUL BEACH "We spent the day here while in port from our Carnival cruise. This was our second time and it didn't disappoint. We rented one of the private beach cabana's and then set up our towels on our lounge chairs. The beaches are white sand and the water is so clear. The food and drinks are not included and can be pricey but that is to be expected here. There are activities available all at an extra cost, we rented snorkel equipment but our main goal was to just have a relaxing beach day which we did. There is also a pool area (18+ only) and you can also rent a cabana up near the pool. We like the beaches so much we have always gotten a beach cabana."
MAYBE OUR BEST MEAL "We had dinner one night during a week on Grand Cayman. The meal was excellent, the atmosphere at little unexpected. The dinner tables are set on a deck overlooking the beach which is very nice, but it's also right in what seems to be a more casual bar. Which apparently turns into a club around midnight. So that was a little weird, but the food more than made up for it, particularly the presentation. Big plates, decorated with sauces. And delicious. I got a tuna app and the seafood trio for dinner, and it was probably the best meal I had all week. We also got the deconstructed snickers bar for dessert which was amazing. Would definitely go back during our next trip."
NICE BEACH CLUB "We came to Royal Palms from our cruise ship Easter Sunday and had a great time. You can’t beat the view or the water here. The setting alone is worth it. Clean white sand and clear aquamarine water. The club has a resturant, access to water sports such as snorkeling tours, bars, adults only pool. Taxi service is readily available and friendly. On our day I think they were a little understaffed, so service was not quite there for us, nonetheless we enjoyed our day here. The food at resturant was great quality and tasty. Wonderful conch fritters! I would characterize this place as relaxing, upscale, trendy . Loved the soothing music that was played while basking in the sun. I would go back in a heartbeat and make proper reservations to get more of an experience here. Thanks!"
